Terms of Use
Last updated: April 16, 2026
These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your use of the KidHub mobile application (“the app”) provided by KidHub (“we,” “us,” or “our”). By creating an account or using the app, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.
1. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and a parent or legal guardian to use KidHub. By creating an account, you confirm that you meet these requirements and that any information you enter about children is for children in your legal care.
2. Account Responsibilities
- You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials
- You are responsible for all activity under your account
- You must provide accurate information and keep it up to date
- You must not share your account with anyone else
- You must notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorized access to your account
3. Acceptable Use
You agree to use KidHub only for its intended purpose — managing family schedules and coordinating with other parents. You must not:
- Use the app for any unlawful purpose
- Enter false or misleading information about children or other users
- Attempt to access other users' data without authorization
- Upload harmful, offensive, or inappropriate content
- Reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the app
- Use the app to send spam, unsolicited messages, or phishing attempts
- Interfere with or disrupt the app's infrastructure or services
4. Children's Data
By entering information about children into KidHub, you represent that you are the parent or legal guardian of those children and that you consent to the collection and processing of their information as described in our Privacy Policy. You may edit or delete children's data at any time through the app.
5. Subscriptions & Payments
5.1 Free Tier
KidHub offers a free tier with limited functionality (1 child, 1 group, 3 playdates per month, 10 photos per event). No payment is required for the free tier.
5.2 KidHub Pro
KidHub Pro is available as an auto-renewing subscription through Apple's App Store. Two plans are offered: monthly and yearly. Prices are displayed in the app and may vary by region.
5.3 Free Trial
If offered, a free trial period allows you to use KidHub Pro features at no charge. At the end of the trial, your subscription automatically converts to a paid subscription unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the trial ends.
5.4 Auto-Renewal
Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period. Your Apple ID account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period at the same price.
5.5 Cancellation
You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time through the App Store settings on your device, or within the app at Settings → KidHub Pro → Manage Subscription. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period — you retain access to Pro features until then.
5.6 Refunds
Refunds are handled by Apple according to their refund policy. We cannot issue refunds directly. To request a refund, visit reportaproblem.apple.com.
6. Content You Create
You retain ownership of all content you create in KidHub (photos, notes, event details). By uploading content, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to store, process, and display it within the app for the purpose of providing the service. We do not use your content for advertising or any purpose unrelated to the app's functionality.
7. Shared Data & Connections
When you create family links, share playdates, or join groups, certain information becomes visible to the connected users (event details, child first names, your contact information). You are responsible for the information you choose to share. You can revoke connections and leave groups at any time.
8. Availability & Modifications
We strive to keep KidHub available at all times but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features at any time. We will provide reasonable notice for material changes. If we discontinue the service entirely, we will give you the opportunity to export your data.
9. Limitation of Liability
KidHub is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, express or implied. To the maximum extent permitted by law:
- We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages
- Our total liability for any claim arising from your use of the app shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim
- We are not responsible for the actions or content of other users you connect with through the app
10. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless KidHub and its team from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the app, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any third party's rights.
11. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms or engage in behavior that is harmful to other users or the service. You may delete your account at any time through Settings → Help & Support → Delete Account. Upon termination, all data is permanently deleted as described in our Privacy Policy.
12. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-law principles. Any disputes arising from these Terms will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Massachusetts.
13. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you via in-app notification or email. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
